Yesterday, Alistair Campbell appeared before the Iraq Inquiry. We know that Tony Blair will appear soon afterwards. Campbell told them that, Britain “should be really proud of the role we played” in Iraq on the same day that a Dutch investigation found the invasion was not justified by international law. Now, it’s critical we increase the pressure for Blair to be questioned properly.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to bring the troops home from Afghanistan. Noting the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan, and the destabilisation of Pakistan arising from the NATO military intervention in the region, and believing that only the Afghan people themselves can generate a political solution to their country’s problems, we therefore demand that the government commence the withdrawal of all British military forces from Afghanistan.
Hassan is an active member of the International Federation of Iraqi Refugees. He is currently detained in Doncaster IRC and awaiting deportation also Hassan has been a member of the Worker Communist Party of Iraq since 1993. The Worker Communist Party of Iraq is a banned organisation in Iraq and Kurdistan. Its members both at home and abroad are persecuted by the Kurdish and Iraq security forces. Hassan’s life will be in danger if he is deported back to the Kurdish area of Iraq.
